Sahar obtained her M.Sc. in Applied Biological Sciences from Jordan University of Science and Technology. She is a certified medical technologist from the American Association of Bioanlaysts, MT (AAB) – specialization embryology.
Sahar worked as Laboratory Supervisor / Senior Embryologist in fertility clinics prior joining Dr. Jason Berman Laboratory. She pursued her career as a Research Laboratory Manager at the IWK Health Centre starting in 2007. She possesses significant experience in the laboratory operation. Her commitment is to develop an advance level of laboratory services.
She enjoyed working with the zebrafish as a model for human disease. Her research focused on the characterization of the Notch signaling pathway role in mast cell development aiming to identify novel therapeutic strategies for targeting mast cells disease.
